申诉流程 Appeal
学生如对成绩不满,须先在收到成绩通知后两周内以邮件形式联系课程/临床实习主任(course/clerkship director),说明要求重新评估成绩的理由,主任须在两周内回复。若经成绩澄清后仍不满意,学生须在成绩澄清会议后四周内,通过负责学生事务、支持与服务的副院长(associate dean for student affairs, support and services)申请上诉听证会。学术上诉小组委员会(Academic Appeals subcommittee)将举行听证会,学生将受邀出席、宣读陈述并回答问题;课程/临床实习主任亦会单独与委员会会面,但不属于该小组委员会成员。有效的上诉理由包括评分程序错误、偏见或歧视,或评分显得武断或反复无常(arbitrary or capricious)。小组委员会作出决定后,不再有进一步的上诉。
