特殊情况规定 Special Considerations
Macquarie University recognises you may experience events or conditions that adversely affect your academic performance.
If you experience serious and unavoidable difficulties at exam time or when assessment tasks are due, you can consider applying for Special Consideration.
学生可能会碰到对学业成绩产生不利影响的事件或情况，如果在考试或作业提交时遇到严重且不可避免的情况，可以考虑特殊申请。
从 2026 年第一学期起，如学生需要最多 3 个日历日的短延期，可以通过 Short Extension 流程申请，通常无需说明理由或提交证明。特殊考虑（Special Consideration）仍适用于严重且不可避免的情况，申请一般须在相关评估截止日期后的 5 个工作日内提交；学校通常会尽量在 5 个工作日内告知结果。
学术不诚信类型 Academic misconduct
学术不诚信类型包括：

学术不诚信惩罚 Academic penalty
学术不诚信的惩罚（处理结果）包括但不限于以下两个层级：

申诉流程 Appeal
学生如不满意学校决定，可以在适用时限内提交上诉。普通学术诚信违规（违规认定或处罚决定，不含停学或退学）通常须在10个工作日内提交；学术诚信违规导致停学或退学处罚的，通常须在20个工作日内提交。上诉需说明程序不公平、未按程序作出决定、决定未基于现有信息、程序公平性问题，或有当时无法取得的新相关信息等理由，并提交支持材料。
