学术不诚信类型包括但不限于以下行为：

1 Plagiarism: presenting others’ work without adequate acknowledgement of its source, as though it were one’s own. Plagiarism is a form of fraud. 剽窃：在不能充分承认其来源的情况下，将他人的作品展示为自己的作品。剽窃是一种欺诈行为。
2 Cheating: deceiving a faculty member or other individual who assess student performance into believing that one’s mastery of a subject or discipline is greater than it is by a range of dishonest methods, including but not limited to: 作弊：通过一系列不诚实的手段，欺骗评估学生表现的教师或他人，使其相信自己对某一学科的掌握程度高于实际水平，包括但不限于：
3 bringing or accessing unauthorized materials during an examination (e.g., notes, books, or other information accessed via cell phones, computers, other technology or any other means) 考试期间携带或获取未经允许的材料（如笔记、书籍，或通过手机、电脑、其他技术或任何其他方式获取的信息）

申诉流程 Appeal

学生必须以书面形式提起上诉，上诉理由仅限三类：（1）存在实质性程序错误；（2）出现此前无法获得且可能影响结果的相关证据；及/或（3）处罚与违规行为严重不成比例。对纪律面谈（conduct conference）决定的上诉须在决定作出之日起3个工作日内提交，学生一般会在提交上诉后10个工作日内收到书面决定；对小组听证（panel hearing）或涉及停学/开除决定的上诉须在5个工作日内提交，学生一般会在提交上诉后15个工作日内收到书面决定。
