1 Plagiarism is defined by the Honor Council as: “quoting, paraphrasing, or otherwise using another’s words or ideas as one’s own without properly crediting the source.” Utilizing AI software to generate ideas and pass them off as one’s own will also be considered plagiarism and will be adjudicated as such by the Honor Council. 剽窃：引用、改写或以其他方式使用他人的词语或观点，且不适当表明出处。使用AI也是剽窃。
2 Multiple submission is the resubmission of any work by a student that has been used in identical or similar form in fulfillment of any academic requirement at this or another institution. Thus, submitting the same work for credit in more than one class, either concurrently or consecutively, without prior permission from the professor shall be considered academic fraud. 重复提交：未经允许将一项作品提交至多项作业。
3 A false citation is any attribution to, or citation of, a source from which the referenced material was not in fact obtained, including use of a quoted reference from a non-original source while implying reference to the original source. This shall be considered academic fraud. 虚假引用：引用材料时使用虚假的来源

1 Expulsion. Permanent Separation from the University. Under this Code, this penalty can be imposed only by the Director, the Associate Dean of Students, the Dean of Undergraduates, or the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. 退学：永久离校。该处罚仅可由主任、学生事务副院长、本科生院长或研究生与博士后研究院院长作出。
2 Disciplinary Suspension. Suspension may be for a specified time or until specified conditions are met. 停学（纪律性停学）：可为指定期限，或直至满足特定条件为止。
3 Loss or Suspension of Privileges. A student may be prohibited from attending particular functions, parties or private gatherings, or other locations or events where alcohol is served or consumed (whether on or off campus), or prohibited from consuming alcohol on campus, or being on campus under the influence of alcohol. 剥夺或暂停权利：可禁止学生参加涉酒活动或聚会、在校饮酒或醉酒进入校园等。

5 Warning is a written sanction which advises a student that they have engaged in behavior that is unbecoming of a member of the University community. A warning may include a requirement to meet with a designated University official. This sanction remains in effect for a specified period of time, after which, it may be removed from the student’s conduct record at the student’s request.
