特殊情况规定 Special Considerations

1.1. Applicable Circumstances

A student’s circumstance is considered exceptional if it is short-term, serious and unavoidable if it arises from circumstances that:

  • Were unexpected and beyond the students control and;
  • Caused disturbance to academic work by a substantial degree and;
  • Could not have reasonably been anticipated, avoided or guarded against by the student and either;
    • Occurred during an event critical study period and was 3 consecutive days or more duration or a total of 5 days within the critical study period or;
    • Prevented the ability to complete, attend or submit an assessment task for a specific date (e.g. final exam, in class test/quiz, in class presentation)

学术不诚信惩罚 Academic penalty

任何形式的作弊一经查实，将根据违规的严重程度面临以下处罚（依据 UNSW《Complaints Management and Investigation Policy and Procedure》，2024年2月12日生效）：

1 Breach: Reduction in marks as prescribed by UNSW policy or procedure; Capped mark pass (50%) for the work or the course; Resubmission of work without further penalty; Resubmission or corrected work with a capped mark; 0% for the assessment; Other reduction in mark; Restitution of damages; Fail for the course (00FL). 一般违规：按UNSW政策扣分；作业或课程成绩封顶为及格（50%）；无额外处罚地重交作业；以封顶分数重交或修改作业；该项作业记0分；其他减分；赔偿损失；课程不及格（00FL）
2 Serious breach/repeated breaches (student misconduct) - All the above, plus: Suspension from UNSW; Delayed graduation; Permanent exclusion; Revocation of an award (e.g. certificate, diploma, degree, prize, scholarship). 严重违规／屡次违规：在上述处罚基础上，另加停学、延迟毕业、永久退学，以及撤销所获学位/证书/文凭/奖项/奖学金

申诉流程 Appeal

学生需要以合理的理由提起上诉,并撰写一份个人陈述说明原因以及提供证据。学校会把结果通过邮件告知学生。
