特殊情况规定 Extenuating Circumstances

‘Extenuating Circumstances’ (often know as ‘ECs’) are events which are sudden, unexpected, significantly disruptive and beyond your control and which may affect your performance at summative assessment, such as a serious illness or the death of a close relative.

特殊情况通常突然的、意外的、超出控制范围的事件，并且可能会影响学生在评测时的表现。可以以此来申请延期，重交或者重考。

学术不诚信类型 Academic misconduct

UCL 认定的学术不诚信类型包括：

1 Plagiarism 剽窃指的是没有适当引用的情况下将他人的作品或者想法表达为自己的。这也包括从书籍、期刊或网页复制使用的内容没有进行适当的引用。
2 Collusion 共谋指的是与UCL内部或外部的人未经允许合作完成你提交的作品。
3 Falsification 伪造指的是使用虚构或者篡改的数据、证据、参考文献、引用或者结果。
4 Contract Cheating 通常指的是代写代考等。
5 Online Assessment Misconduct 指的是线上考试或作业学生未经授权与第三方合作完成或作弊抄袭等。
6 File Sharing 文件共享指的是在未经允许的情况下与其他学生或者第三方共享作业或者考试内容。
7 Examination Room Misconduct 考场不当行为指的是学生在考试期间获得不公平优势的行为，例如未经允许使用电子产品、书籍或未经许可离开考场等。

学术不诚信惩罚 Academic penalty

学术不诚信成立后，不同审裁机构（模块负责人、考试委员会主席、系级小组、UCL学术不诚信委员会）可处以下列一项或多项处罚：

3 A reduction of marks for the component in which the offence took place by 10 percentage points or one letter grade. 对发生违规的评估部分扣减10个百分点或一个字母等级。

5 The component in which the offence took place is given a mark capped at the appropriate pass threshold for the level of study. 发生违规的评估部分分数被限制为该学习阶段相应的及格线。
6 The component in which the offence took place is given a mark within the condonable range for the student’s level of study. 发生违规的评估部分分数被限制在该学习阶段可宽免的分数范围内。

申诉流程 Appeal

学生在收到结果后的10个工作日内，向学校发起上诉通知，需要提供上诉相关的所有文件以及理由，10个工作日后将不再受理，除非能证明延迟的原因。收到上诉后学生通常会在10个工作日内收到通知，内容为对学生学术不诚信的判决。如果有需要学校会邀请学生参加听证会，在听证会结束10个工作日内学生会收到最终决定。如果对此决定不满，学生可以要求申请OIA，进行复查，必须在12个月内提交OIA申请表。
