特殊情况规定 Aegrotat or compassionate consideration
Apply for an aegrotat or compassionate consideration if your personal circumstances are temporary and have significantly affected your test or exam performance or preparation.
特殊情况指的是学生发生不可控制的重大事件，且其严重影响到了学生的学习表现或参加考试的能力。学生可以以此进行特殊情况申请，来获得重考或延期的机会。
学术不诚信类型 Academic misconduct
学术不诚信行为包括但不限于：

学术不诚信惩罚 Academic penalty
学术不诚信的惩罚视情节轻重分为三类——轻微学术不诚信、考试中的一类学术不诚信、严重学术不诚信及考试中的二类学术不诚信，可处以下列处罚：

申诉流程 Appeal
学生若对相关决定不满，可按学校的学术争议与投诉流程处理：
- 非正式解决：首先直接与相关任课老师、课程协调员或专业顾问沟通，这通常更快捷、压力更小（学生可携带支持人，AUSA Advocacy 亦可全程提供协助）。
- 正式投诉：以书面形式向相关学术负责人（Academic Head）提出投诉，须清楚说明事项并附全部证据，提交后不可再补充或更改；多名学生可就同一事项联合提交。调查可能需要最多 28 天（尤其在情况复杂时）。学术负责人会作出初步裁定并提出解决方案，随后由院长（Dean）作出最终决定——全部或部分支持投诉并给出处理方案，或驳回投诉。
- 复核：若学生仍不满，可请求教务长（Provost）进行复核。复核不会重新调查，仅审查流程是否存在失误、或院长的决定是否明显与证据不符。教务长的决定为最终决定。
