在学习期间可能会发生意想不到的情况影响学生完成课程要求的能力。学校建议学生先查看课程大纲：如果错过课内评估（如作业、期中考试或论文），替代安排通常由任课教师酌情决定；如果错过由 Registrar 安排的期末考试，则应按照 Deferred Final Exam (DFE) 流程办理。若错过注册相关截止日期，Registrar 另有 Registration Exemption / Extenuating Circumstance Withdrawal 说明。
学术不诚信类型 Academic misconduct
学术不诚信指任何损害对学生学术活动进行正当评估的学生行为，包括但不限于：

学术不诚信惩罚 Academic penalty
学术不诚信的惩罚可包括下列一项或多项：

申诉流程 Appeal
被认定学术不诚信的学生可依据 Student Misconduct and Academic Appeals Policy 对认定或处分提出申诉；但仅要求参加学术诚信教育或书面警告的处分，通常只有在学生同时申诉学术不诚信认定时才可申诉。若申诉对象为停学或开除，学生在申诉期间通常可以注册、上课并参与学术活动，但已依据程序施加的限制可能继续有效。当前可读的学术不诚信政策/程序未公开详细的 University Appeals Tribunal 时间表，因此不再沿用旧 PDF 中的具体天数。
