特殊情况规定 Extenuating circumstances
Mitigation is the process by which you can apply for an extension to a deadline or defer an exam or other time-limited assessment if you experience unexpected situations that affect your ability to complete an assessment.
Mitigation 适用于影响学生完成评估、考试或其他限时评估的突发情况。可申请的结果包括无证据 7 天延期、有证据 1 周或 2 周延期,以及有证据延期考试/限时评估(deferral)。有证据申请通常可在截止日前最多 4 周提交,最迟为截止后 24 小时内提交;相关证据通常须在截止后 10 个工作日内补交。

申诉流程 Appeal
学生可以在收到通知后的10个工作日内向学校提起上诉,学校在收到上诉后会对其内容进行审核。学生可能会被要求参加听证会,听证会时间会在听证会开始前至少10个工作日通知学生,学生可以允许有陪同者一起参与听证会。学校通常会在收到上诉后30个工作日内完成上诉流程,并将结果告知学生。
