特殊情况规定 Special Considerations

特殊情况指的是超出学生控制范围的事件可能会对学生的成绩以及如期完成和参加考试产生影响。可以以此来申请作业延期、特殊评估或重新提交作业。 学生须不迟于评估截止日或错过课堂后的4个工作日内申请；如果已经知道即将受到影响，应在评估截止日或上课前申请。支持文件可以在申请后4个工作日内补交。短期延期属于单独的调整选项，通常可在评估截止日前申请最多10个工作日的延期。
学术不诚信类型 Academic misconduct
学术不诚信现在按 Level 1 和 Level 2 分类处理。Level 1 通常由 Faculty Academic Integrity Officer 处理，Level 2 属于严重学术不端，由 Student Academic Misconduct Committee 处理。相关行为包括但不限于：

学术不诚信惩罚 Academic penalty
学术不诚信成立后，可处以下列一项或多项处罚：

申诉流程 Appeal
学生可在原决定日期起20个 University business days 内通过 online student appeals form 提交上诉。申诉理由包括：存在程序不规则、出现当时无法合理提供且可能影响决定或处罚的新信息、决定明显错误，或处罚明显过重、不适当或不属于可用处罚。学校会在收到上诉通知后的5个 University business days 内确认收悉；若申诉缺乏充分依据，可能不经听证被驳回。学术不诚信相关决定可对 misconduct finding 或 penalty 提出申诉，但不能对 Council 撤销学位的决定提出申诉。
