特殊情况规定 Adverse circumstances
Adverse Circumstances are issues beyond your control that affect your ability to complete assessments, sit your exam or have a negative impact on your performance.
特殊情况指的是发生了学生无法控制的事情,会影响完成作业、考试或对学生的表现产生负面影响。
可接受的理由包括健康原因、同情理由、困难、创伤、文化日或 Sorry Business、以及不可避免的承诺。学生可申请作业延期、正式考试改期、课堂评估改期、强制出勤豁免或实习/placement 改期。学校要求学生尽早、并在评估到期或考试前告知情况;申请不超过 3 个日历日延期时,系统可能不要求提交证明材料。

学术不诚信惩罚 Academic penalty
学术不诚信成立后,学术行为官员(Student Academic Conduct Officer)可处以下列第 1–9 项中的一项或多项处罚(第104条);高级副校长(学术与全球)(Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & Global))可处以下列第 10–17 项中更严厉的一项或多项处罚(第105条):

申诉流程 Appeal
学生可就学术决定提出申诉,且不得就同一学术决定提起多次申诉。具体的申诉时限由相关的申诉程序(appeal procedure)规定。审理申诉的教职员或委员会可向学生索取进一步信息,并可邀请学生以当面或视频会议(如 Zoom)方式参加申诉听证会;学生可携带一名陪同人员出席(陪同人员不得举证)。申诉结果将以书面形式通知学生,结果为:驳回申诉、部分支持申诉或完全支持申诉。
