特殊情况规定 Special Considerations

A Student who, due to serious illness, misadventure, trauma, compassionate grounds or compulsory community commitment(s), is unable to complete an assessment, including a final Invigilated Examination; or whose performance in an assessment, including a final Invigilated Examination, may be impaired, can apply for Special Consideration in accordance with the University’s Procedure: Special Consideration.

学术不诚信类型 Academic misconduct

学术诚信违规行为包括但不限于以下行为：

1 plagiarism – representing as one’s own original work (without appropriate acknowledgement) the ideas, interpretations, words or creative works of another; this includes works in print and electronic media, published and unpublished documents, designs, music, sounds, images, photographs, computer codes and ideas gained through working in a group; use of paraphrasing tools or other software services to disguise or avoid plagiarism 剽窃：将他人的思想、解释、文字或作品当作自己原创作品提交。
2 unauthorised assessment recycling – submitting or re-submitting, without authorisation, one’s own work that has already been assessed 未经授权重新提交自己已被评分过的作品。
3 unauthorised use of generative artificial intelligence – submitting work that has been produced or modified using artificial intelligence tools including Large Language Models, content generators, Chatbots and other forms of generative artificial intelligence (writing assistance tools, including grammar checkers, translation and paraphrasing tools, and reference generators) (unless expressly allowed). 未经允许使用人工智能。
4 contract cheating – submission of work for assessment that has been completed by a third party; this includes submitting work that has been produced by a commercial provider, a current or former student, a family member or a friend; work that has been produced or modified using software including generative artificial intelligence (unless expressly allowed), or organising another person to complete an examination 代写/代考。
5 file-sharing – uploading assessment work or course materials to file-sharing websites, or any other form of unauthorised distribution of assessment work or course materials 未经允许将课程资料、考试内容等上传至网页上共享。
6 collusion or unauthorised collaboration – collaboration with another person(s) to prepare assessed work beyond the extent of collaboration permitted by the specific instructions for the task 未经允许与他人合作完成本应独立完成的作品。
7 all forms of cheating in examinations, tests or other assessment tasks 在考试中的一切形式的作弊行为。
8 falsification, fabrication, deception or intentional misrepresentation of information, data, research methods or results 伪造、捏造或故意歪曲信息、数据、研究方法或结果。
9 conflict of interest – failure to declare or manage a conflict of interest 利益冲突：未申报或未妥善处理利益冲突。
10 impersonation – assuming the character or appearance of, or pretending to be another person 冒名顶替：假冒他人身份或伪装成他人。
11 concealing or facilitating a breach of academic integrity by others 协助他人违反学术诚信。
12 offering or accepting bribes – such as money, favours or benefits of any kind as an inducement for an offer of admission or advanced standing, granting a particular assessment mark or final grade, or any other action that would provide an unjustified academic advantage. 提供或收受贿赂：以金钱、好处等作为诱因，换取录取、学分、特定成绩或其他不正当的学术利益。

申诉流程 Appeal

学生如不服 National Head 或其代表作出的学术诚信决定，可在收到决定通知后的 10 个工作日内按规定提交上诉。学校通常会在收到上诉后的 10 个工作日内成立上诉委员会；如需召开听证会，学生通常会至少提前 5 个工作日收到听证会信息。上诉委员会通常会在听证会结束后的 5 个工作日内通知学生结果。
